Ray Willis

Ray Willis is an Editor, Videographer and Studio Manager with experience in Advertising and Post Production.

After graduating from Columbia College with a BA in Film & Sound Editing,

Ray started his career at Editel Chicago, working his way up the ranks from Shipper to Tape Librarian to Tape Room Operator. From there he worked as an Edit Assistant at Superior Street Inc. and Swell Pictures.

In 2000 Ray was hired at BBDO Chicago to build an internal editing facility, WhizBang Studios, where he served as VP, Managing Editor for 11 years. His primary responsibility was editing, however he also managed scheduling, billing and equipment maintenance. From June 2011 through June 2012 Ray was a freelance Editor at DraftFCB, DDB, Fullhouse Media & The Giarose Group.

Currently Ray is Managing Editor at Y&R Midwest.
